Enjoy your fabulous fashion sense!
Thanks!!
Way Cool Jenny!!!
Hi Jenny! I love, love, LOVE your blog! I discovered it through your guest post on Corporette and now I’m addicted. I’m an in-house attorney and mother of a 5-month-old, so all of your style tips come in VERY handy. Thanks for all the great info! Can’t wait to read more.
Congratulations, Katy!!! And thanks for the encouragement!
What do you think about spats? I know that there hasn’t been much in the way of selection lately, but I don’t want to be left behind if they should suddenly become popular again.
Still waiting for the information about spats.
You might be waiting a while.
Any thoughts on a waterproof shoe? I haven’t found any rain boots that are practical for work. We are practically underwater here in Tulsa today and I hate to subject my leather pumps to this!
Love your blog!
I know you are a huge supporter of moms making a living and doing it in style! I just started selling Stella & Dot Jewelry in Iowa and was wondering if you would be interested in helping me spread the word! Any ideas? Interested in hosting a party? The new line is amazing!! Check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks!!

Question about closet organization:
I have retired from the business world and have, over the years accumulated a large amount of stuff in my closet. In fact, I can hardly squeeze through the mass of clothes, shoes, boxes of memorabilia, etc. I really don’t want to rent a storage unit due to cost and inconvenience. I am getting desperate to find a solution as I don’t know where to start. It is on my mind constantly to the point that is starting to affect my social life in that I talk about little else. In addition, I have to admit that I have been hitting the sauce (Grey Goose) a little more than usual and I know that is not good for me. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Jenny,
Thank you for helping my friend Albert clean out his closet. My problem is he sent most of his stuff home with me and I simply don’t know what to do with it.
I am an escapee from technology and now put together real estate partnerships. My standard dress is loafers, clean jeans, white 100% cotton long sleeve shirt with button down collars and a black wool sports coat.
Albert says that if I put his hand-me-downs to good use and wear them it will elevate my style and my clients, mostly lawyers, will see me in a more professional light.
What do you think?
I just found your terrific blog via Corporette. I just finished law school in December 2010, having taken a semester off after having my daughter in December 2009. I made it through the bar (that is, I took the exam; results don’t come out till May) and am starting work at a small firm in April. I’m in L.A., so things are more casual than, say, DC, but I would love any suggestions for style blogs you would recommend checking out. Between law school, bar study, and chasing a toddler, I look like the Kristy character from the Babysitter’s Club– the one who, while just 13 and eligible for such fun silly fashion larks, wore the same sad sensible uniform of turtleneck, jeans, and running shoes every day. Except I wear clogs and v-necks because it’s too warm here for turtlenecks. Anyway, the point is: I know you are crazy busy, but your top 3 suggestions (I mean, in addition to your fabulous site) would be met with huge thanks.
Best,
Laura
Thanks, Laura. Stayed tuned next week…
